NowByou
NowByou is a not-for-profit organization that works with local communities to eliminate discrimination of any kind and help advance the international human rights system through local and targeted interventions.
It forms, chairs and equips networking and support groups where people who have experienced discrimination can share their experiences in a safe environment. It also works directly with police forces to co-develop campaigns that encourage the reporting of discriminatory incidents.
Recent research shows increasing discrimination against marginalized groups, particularly homeless people and refugees. NowByou believes a new six-month campaign is required to raise awareness and reinforce its own brand recognition, because it depends heavily on donors and financial aid from partners.
Project management maturity is very low, with no standardized processes or templates. NowByou has contracted an experienced not-for-profit project manager to develop the initial project management documentation, advise and coach the Director of Campaigns, mentor the staff member appointed as project manager, and advise the team on using television, press and social networks.

Chair of Trustees
Chairs the board of trustees and is the Member of Parliament for the area in which NowByou Head Office is located.
Chief Executive Officer
A founder of NowByou, its long-standing CEO, experienced in the not-for-profit sector and a director of several other charities.
Chief Finance Officer
Appointed six months ago after working as a senior bank executive. Active with donors and keen to introduce good portfolio and project management practices.
Head of Fund-Raising
Reports to the CFO, has experience of mature portfolio, programme and project management, and helped secure the external project manager and Portfolio Office.
Fund-Raising Administrator
Reports to the Head of Fund-Raising, has ten years at NowByou across HR and Campaigns, and wants PRINCE2 training.
Human Resources Director
Responsible for suitable terms, working conditions, recruitment, retention, clearance and vetting for staff, volunteers and contractors.
Director of Campaigns
Recently joined after a senior commercial marketing role. Has overall responsibility for NowByou campaigns and is in a first director-level appointment.
Portfolio Office Manager
Promoted from senior administration to establish the Portfolio Office and work with the Contracted Project Manager on project documentation and processes.
Contracted Project Manager
An experienced NGO project manager, initially contracted for 50% of her time, reducing to 25% after three months.
Police Liaison Officer
A retired Chief Inspector who has worked closely with the HR Director and is building a relationship with the Director of Campaigns.
Graduate Trainees
Four trainees complete their two-year programme in two months. All have received PRINCE2 Project Management training.
Chair of User Group
Represents interested local communities, networking, homelessness and refugee groups and is available to support the campaign.
Chief Constable
A member of the Board of Trustees who supports the campaign and is concerned about crime affecting homeless and refugee communities.
Head of Publicity and Social Media
Reports to the Director of Campaigns and is responsible for brand management, press releases and social media, with three full-time staff.
Head of IT
Manages NowByou's IT resources and infrastructure with six specialist staff.
Marketing Agency Director
Represents CharityM, which works with the Head of Publicity and Social Media on television and radio advertising.
